I never intended to work in marketing, but since my first agency job over 20 years ago, I've been hooked.

 

I've always loved the energy and sense of possibility that comes from marketing - the forward facing idea of growth combined with creativity and driving results. I spent the first part of my career working in agency strategy teams, eventually leading them, then time working client side as a marketing director, building a marketing function from the bottom up.

 

In 2014 I secured a coveted place on the Marketing Academy leadership development programme, and that sparked my interest in leadership. I was suddenly exposed to some of the best leaders in the business, had my first coach and began to reflect on potential as a leader in teams. This started a journey of self-discovery which has led me to mens work, shadow work and transformative practice.

​In the last few years I have been focused on org design and leadership coaching - answering the question 'how does marketing organise itself to get our best work done'. I have worked closely with marketing leaders from a range of large enterprises and small scale ups, helping them fine-tune performance to get the most out of their people. I have led re-orgs, M&A, cultural transformations and team performance enhancements.

Now I combine these strands of my career - strategy, innovation, leadership coaching and org design, to build a full package which can elevate the role of marketing in a business and get the function performing to it's highest potential.
